‘Amma Baby Care Kit’ scheme launched by the State Government of Tamil Nadu on 07th September 2015. The scheme also contained a Sowbhagya Leghyam for the mother. Earlier, in the year 1992, during his 1st tenure as CM, the government launched ‘Cradle Baby’ scheme.
